College Freshman
September 5, 2012

I have officially started college as of yesterday as a freshman (once again). Even though I fell to my last resort for school, it isn’t too bad after all. Since I’m going to be stuck here for the next 1 1/2~2 years, I might as well enjoy my time here one semester at a time. This semester, I have 4 classes which are Introduction to Computer Science and Information Systems, Financial Accounting, English, and Introduction to Government.

First off, Introduction to Computer Science and Information Systems doesn’t impress me at all. The objective of the class is to basically learn the basics of using a computer. Within the course, the students will eventually have to create a simple web page. Based on the student samples that were shown to us on the first day of class, I am expecting to ace this class no problem. As an added bonus, we have open note quizzes every week.

English… I think the professor is pretty cool and the class is pretty standard. In the past, I had English teachers where they are formal and “take precautions” in what they say. Except this professor talks about anything without limitation. While explaining her rules regarding cell phone usage in class, she brings up her habit of texting and driving along with other things that won’t be mentioned within this post.

As far as Introduction to Government goes, the name gives the description of the course already. I mean if I survived a regular Government class with one of the hardest teachers in high school with an A (with regards that there are around 2~4 A’s per class), I can take on this class without too much of a problem. Surprisingly, I still have the Bill of Rights memorized in the back of my mind.

My Financial Accounting class is pretty decent. Out of the four classes I have, I am looking forward to this class the most. Even though I have a fascination for finance, I’m taking this course because it’s required by my major. Computer Information Systems runs in the business department as they interact directly with solving business problems regarding technology.

Congrats on going back to school. It does seem weird after being a senior you’re back at being a freshmen….maybe someone should change it.

Introduction classes kind of seem like a joke most of the time. Mainly because if you’re interested in what field you’re going into you at least know a bit about what you’ll be doing before you even step foot in the class.

It sounds like you’ve had a pretty average day too! I really hope that your classes become more interesting – for your sake! And at least you’ll get an easy A in Computer Science, it’ll definitely be a breeze.

Ooh that’s fancy! I like the background for this layout! I think I have it for one of my tumblr blogs. ^^

I can’t believe you read my longest post. Hahahaha I felt like I rambled on a lot, but it was very good of you to read it all. 🙂

And yes, I say “You a stupid hoe,” to my friends too. x) GUILTY.

And I’m pretty terrified of my French class now… Everyone seems to be pros at French and I’m just sitting in my seat, trying to not look terrified. :s

I’m doing good so far in the challenge 3/30 so far! And I actually don’t ditch school at all! I did in a couple classes in grade eight, and once in grade nine, but really there’s nothing to do, and none of my newly made friends are anything like that! It helps that my teachers are amazing.

I hope you enjoy your college days x

Congratulations on finally making it to college. Now you know what it’s like to be a college freshman. (FreshmEn is plural, like men vs man).

Well, now that you’re in college, you should get used to professors throwing around profanity because you’re an adult & you should be able to handle a little bit of profanity. It’s really not that big of a deal. They still expect things from you no matter how “chill” they seem. I hate that word.

Well, at least CS will be easy for you & you can easily get an A. Maybe you should try to take on another class that might be more of a challenge. How many units are you taking?

Is the Government class a poli sci class? Girl, you should’ve picked something that might’ve been more challenging to you that would benefit you!

I don’t think I saw your last layout, but I like this one out of all the others you had. It’s a lot more appealing! Not too many colors attacking your eyes & they go well together!

Computer Science and Information Systems sounds piss easy. Sound like cake classes, haha. Love the sound of your English professor, haha. Hopefully he makes the class fun for you.

I really like your new layout. Resized my window for effect and I love the fact that there’s no horizontal scrolling, ha.

Good luck with college and everything – I’m sure you’ll do well 😀
