A Dazzling Day at Disney
April 24, 2016

On Friday, I went to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure with my boyfriend ❤. The thing I love about Disney is the fact that the park makes us feel like we’re at a magical place away from regular civilization. Before, we’d zoom through every big rides to maximize our time there. This time, we decided to take it easy and really enjoy the scenery. If we didn’t get on the ride, there is always next time.

Moments From Our Experience
  • Hyperspace Mountain is still an awesome ride at Disneyland.
  • Slightly beating my boyfriend at the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
  • Exploring through the Mark Twain Riverboat for the first time (the cabin is great for a nap~).
  • Spent Lunch at the French Market. Their nonalcoholic mint julep’s are delish~.
  • Enjoying the conversations during the wait for the rides.
  • Confronting Kylo Ren at the Launch Bay. Maybe I’m part of the dark side, who knows?
  • An awesome stranger giving us two FastPasses to Radiator Springs Racers.
  • Soarin’ Over California always make me want to go out and travel in the near future.
  • Nomming away at a turkey leg before going on Mickey’s Fun Wheel. We’re daring enough for the swinging gondola’s!
  • Getting excited whenever I saw my work’s products used in various attractions.
  • Photographer: Give each other a big hug!
  • Had dinner and some tasty drinks at the Cove Bar, followed by watching the World of Color from its deck.
  • Buying souvenirs at the end to add on to our mug and keychain collection.
World of Color

The World of Color was amazing! The last time I watched the show was back in 2011 when it was still fairly new. My boyfriend and I dined at the Cove Bar and stayed there past closing time, which gave us a pretty nice view from the side. It’s not a close-up view compared to watching it on the actual viewing deck. We really enjoyed seeing a combination of water being shot up into the air, flame cannons firing away, and projected fancy lighting put into action.

A Walk Through Disney

I brought my GoPro to Disney and patched together some clips for fun. Initially, the video was 5 minutes long but didn’t look good with everything being too sped up. The video ended up being 10 minutes long, so enjoy the video if you end up watching it. Following the video are some favorite pictures taken during the trip. I can’t wait to go back to Disney in the nearby future!

Is that a lit-up or glowing ice cube?! It looks awesome! I also watched the video, good thing you went on Big Thunder Mountain. 😉 I have only ever been to Tokyo Disneyland and I went on that ride, not many others though. I didn’t have a fast pass and the lines were way too long. I’m going to Disneyland Paris in June and Big Thunder Mountain is closed. 🙁 Shame because it was one of the few rides I liked hahaha. It was nice that the stranger gave you fast passes too. 😀

You guys are cute 🙂 🙂 Glad you had a good time!

Yeah! The lit up diamond is a souvenir, which bumps up the martini price by a few dollars X’D. Big Thunder is an awesome ride, especially since it’s thrilling. I can’t believe how crowded these parks can be!

Thanks for watching the video ♥~

Girl, I’m loving the alliteration to this blog post title! 😀 It made me smile big time.

I’m glad you and your boyfriend had a fabulous time in Disney! I haven’t been to a Disney (almost could have in Tokyo, but didn’t make it LOL), but seeing your photos and reading your experience really makes me want to.

I would totally go on all the thrill rides if I can! They never bothered me, so I’d go on them and have a blast 😀 The rides in Korea doesn’t excite me at all, so I’d like to go on something new!

Love all your photos! I especially like the one where you and your boyfriend are hugging! The food photos made me wish I were there to eat and drink what you had! And I like the last two colourful photos!

What a fabulous day, indeed! <3

I didn’t realize it was an alliteration until you pointed it out XD. Disney’s 60th year celebration is diamond themed and they throw “dazzle” all over their ads X’D.
      “Prepared to get dazzled” :D.

You need to go to Disney soon!!!!! It’s always fun to go :), I know people who go every weekend. Some day, we’ll eat and drink together ;)~

oh I am so jealous! All of your pictures are so beautiful and exactly what I imagine Disneyland to be like. I’ve only ever visited Disney world, and I feel like everyone always says Disneyland is better. Whenever we go, we always try to cram in as much as we can, so I love that you guys took your time to just enjoy being there.

You guys are so cute. 🙂

Nancy, your website is so organized! I LOVE IT. It makes sense you’re majoring in something related with computers. 🙂

This makes me want to go to Disneyland, I haven’t been there since I was like two. I haven’t been to Disney World since I was like 12…. You’re lucky you live in California and its easy for you to get there! 🙂

Your video looks amazing, which GoPro do you have? I just picked up the hero 3 white it was on sale in a package, and I am slowly learning how to fix the slight coloring issue, any tips? Any suggestions with accessories? I have a case, clip, head and chest mount, just need to get the selfie stick. I am going to maui in 2 months, so I wanted to pick one up for the snorkeling with turtles. 😀

I LOVE disney. I have been to Disney World twice, both times was amazing, however now that Universal has the Harry Potter area, I my favoritism is switching 😀

Wonderful time! I have yet to visit any kind of Disney theme park, but I intend to bring my future (later on future) kids with me and my husband to it. I’ll probably geek out and embarrass them XD I know with my husband’s promotion, that things are changing and I’ll be able to do the things I want to do like vacations to Disney theme parks. I’m glad you had a wonderful time with the bf <3 I hope you've been well and continue to do well! Much love, Nancy!

Awesome photos! They’re so beautiful. I haven’t been to Disneyland since 2005? It looks like I need to go check out the new Star Wars area.

That looks so amazing. It does completely appear to have the atmosphere of being a completely different place, full of magic. 😀

That looks like a really fun day! Always nice to go to a place that let’s you escape normal life 🙂 You guys are so cute in the hugging photo, and the water show is beautiful! Makes me want to go to Disney now!

Listen up, my cousin is making me an iternirary for when I come in June and she’s fitting LA in there. You know what I’m saying? You know what I’m saying, g.

(I love how slightly was in italics, lol)

I want a GoPro. They make everything look so cool. Love the video! Nancy, you look so cute bb. I love Disney so much.
