Everything Nice
January 22, 2013

I finally got my Spring semester classes registered. As of now, it seems like I’m going to have early morning classes this upcoming semester unlike the previous semester where I had afternoon/evening classes. I am registered for 5 classes which includes Physical Anthropology {101}, English {102}, Statistics, Music Fundamentals {101}, and Public Speaking {101}. This means I start classes at 7:30 am then end at 12:00 pm on Monday’s & Wednesday’s, 10:00 am on Tuesday’s, and 6:30 pm on Thursday’s with a 5-hour gap after 10. The semester starts in 4 weeks. For sure, I will do what I can to earn a 3.5+ GPA.

Speaking of which, I have 6 days of class before I’m finished with this Winter session! As easy as the class is, I do like it. The professor even took the time to memorize my name (out of all people ;x). I have another unit test this upcoming Thursday; at least I have access to the online study guide this time.

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I celebrated our 6 months at Noodle World and at a park nearby. Even though it was a short celebration, I really enjoyed it. I appreciate everything he do for me. He even went out of his way and got me a cute Pandora bracelet. He’s really sweet, supportive, understanding, and everything nice to me. I’m confident when I say I am beyond happy with our relationship. ^_^

Today, I had lunch with a friend who I haven’t seen for quite a while at Islands (a burger restaurant). We got caught up with stuff that’s going on in life and had a great time. This goes to show- even if two people have different fields of interest, they can still get plenty of interesting conversations down. We can still relate with a lot of topics even though I’m into computers and she’s into dance.

With today being Tuesday, we’ll see how the rest of the week goes. The weekend will come; one second at a time…. And I’m fine with that.

Awwwww, happy 6 months to you and your lucky boyfriend! Like Brangelina, I hope you guys will last. 😛 Just always communicate and stay awesome!

I think it’s just as fun to hang out with someone who has entirely different interests from you, simply because you learn new things.

Also, you remind me that I haven’t been to Islands in a long time. I love their burgers and fries. Must make a trip to Islands soon! 😛

Congrats on getting your classes! Oh my gosh, though. 7:30a!? That’s insane. You must really be a morning person. 😛 I can’t wake up normally unless it’s after 11:30a at the earliest, haha. Hope you get the grades you want too! ^__^

Happy 6 months to you and your boyfriend! 🙂 Sounds like you found a perfect guy for you.

Burger restaurant?! That already sounds yum. I haven’t gone there but I so need to when I go home. @__@ & glad you and your friend can still talk about a lot of things! 🙂 I’m glad it’s still easy to talk to people with different interests cause no one I talk to regularly seems to be interested in stuff I talk about. hehe

Happy 6 months anniversary! I’m glad you made it past three or two like I haven’t done yet. But I’m glad that you guys can do stuff for each other. That’s all that counts :). I’m happy for you both!

Oh wow – I didn’t know that. I guess all dad’s are a like. I just never knew who to tell my problems with. I mean, my dad was always working, and if I was having a fight with a friend, I couldn’t go to them, so I was stuck waiting until my Grandmother got home, or my dad from work. So either way I had no one to really talk to about anything. I was always at fault for everything it seemed. My dad is now backing up his girlfriend, (old lady) – but I knew that would happen sooner or later. I wrote him an email for closure -and two of my friends told me just screw him – he maybe your dad and everything, but he isn’t being your dad anymore. I have extended family here, at the apartments, and a lot of them don’t care for my dad. I knew it was only a matter of time before my birthday hit my dad would come at me saying I’m a smart-a** and throwing snide remarks at his old lady (oh so its okay for her to do it to his child but not okay for his child to do it to his old lady? Don’t get it). Anyway – it sucks, but I’m coping. No loss, no biggie. She can have him and his anger issues and put up with it too. I no longer have too. :).

I’m glad you got your schedule of classes. I wish I had mine – but unfortunately – I don’t think I can pay for that and all what I have to pay for right now. Unless I got a Pell Grant, but I don’t even know how to go about getting one…

7:30am is so early! That’s nice to be done early on a couple days though. The earliest class I had was 8am, and I hated waking up for it, haha.

Congrats on your 6 month anniversary! I’m glad your relationship is going well 😀

I think people with different interests can still get along well and have things to talk about. Most of my friends date or married people who work in very different industries. There are plenty of other things in life to talk about!

Happy anniversary to you and your boyfriend! I hope you guys had a great time! Also, good luck in all of your classes. English 102 seems like a class that I teach. =D What types of papers and work are you doing in that course? I’m a nosy teacher, hehe.

Hurray for getting your classes registered! I’m already doing my spring courses because my school goes by quarters, not semesters. 😐
It sucks about the morning classes! I’m not a morning person lol. But at least you’ll have afternoon time to do whatever since your classes are in the morning.

    Omg w00t, happy six months! Is Noodle World a restaurant lol. It sounds like a park haha. But I’ve never heard of it! Pandora bracelets are soooo pretty! You’re a lucky gal. c;

I think I saw your Instagram photo of you & your friend at Islands! We don’t have that in NorCal. :c

Good luck with everything this semester. Hope you can indeed get a 3.5+ GPA 🙂

Good luck with the unit test. 🙂

Happy 6 months to you both! More months (and maybe even years!) to the both of you. 🙂 It’s good that you are very happy with your relationship.

That sounds like such an interesting course load. Which class are you most excited to study? I hope you’re a morning person! I never was until this semester. The key, I’ve found, is going to bed and getting plenty of rest to have energy for the rest of the day.

Good luck on your test! It’s great to have professors remember your name. Maybe you could end up getting a letter of rec from him for scholarships and other things.

Congratulations on celebrating 6 months! Those bracelets make such sweet gifts. I love how positive and easy going this whole post seems. I perceive an aura of peace emanating from your writing. I’m glad that things are going so well for you and that you got to reconnect with an old friend. I hope that your positive mood brings even more positive things into your weekend 🙂
