Fall Registration
July 17, 2013

I finally registered for classes to take during the fall! I successfully enrolled in Elements of General Chemistry, Programming in C/C++, English Critical Thinking/Argument, and Fitness Lab. In addition, I’m on the waitlist for Microeconomics as number 9… If everything works out, I should hopefully make it into the class. So far, it looks like I’m going to school on Mondays  (7:30am~3:00pm), Tuesdays (12:30pm~1:30pm), and Wednesdays (7:30am~10:00pm) along with three hours of PE during the weekdays. That adds up to 5 classes and 14.5 units for the fall semester.

For the past week or so, I have been thinking about joining the honor society at my school. I have the grades for it and I will have more free time now that I’m not taking anywhere near 19 units. I spent my first year of college getting myself together and it’s time to go out there and do something..

The next three weeks of my summer will be packed with fun (of some sort)! Next week, I have *that* sushi class and finals for Business Law. The week after, it’s X Games week! Following that comes Cyber Camp.

This week has been nice on me so far. Earlier this week, my boyfriend and I changed things up and have him cook the meals we had. We had some delicious homemade hash browns and sopes with some young coconuts on the side. As for Business Law, I got an 88% on my 3rd test and took another test today. I have a mediation presentation to take care of tomorrow and after that, I’m done with school for the week!

I’m finally getting used to braces with all of that teeth adjusting and eating foods differently. I still eat hamburgers and most of the stuff I normally eat. Brushing more often isn’t a problem with me since I usually brush often anyways.

Wow, your Wednesdays will be really long! That’s nice that you don’t have anything on Thursday or Friday though. I used to love it when I got a schedule that didn’t have classes daily.

It sounds like you have a lot of fun stuff coming up! I also saw the Instagram photos of your boyfriend cooking, and all of that food looked good. It’s nice to date someone who can cook! I’m glad you’re getting used to your braces too!

It’s nice that you don’t have any classes on Thursdays and Fridays – though Wednesdays will be really long! I prefer to set my schedule up in a similar way to yours, that way I just have a few days with a lot of work and the rest are relatively easy. I signed up for classes back in May, but I don’t really remember the schedule that I have.

Aw, that’s sweet that he cooked the meals for you! 🙂 My boyfriend is a terrible cook and we were just joking earlier about how if he did cook me a meal, it would probably be the day I would do because he would accidentally poison me. 😛 What he cooked looks delicious!

That’s a long Wednesday. Good thing you have a 4-day weekend to back you up, so yay. Allowing some time to get involved in campus activities sounds like a good idea. Helps you get connected while you make new friends. Best of luck with the application process[?]!

The one thing that REALLY got my attention was “*that* sushi class.” What’s that all about? O.O You got my attention…and curiosity!
