Fees, Shopping, and Games
February 9, 2013

The first week of February went by pretty well for me. On Monday, I had to drop by my school to buy a parking permit and pay my student fees. Thankfully, it’s not as bad as it sounds. On a side note relating to school, I switched Statistics class from mid-morning to noon. This means I will have 2 back to back classes instead of 3. By ending my day at 1pm instead of 10am or 12pm, this should reduce stress when it comes to studying for tests and such.

On a couple of blog posts ago, I mentioned about buying a canvas backpack. It finally came in the mail a week later on Wednesday and I love it {Instagram}. On Monday, Cards Against Humanity (the “Rated R” version of Apples to Apples) got restocked and I bought it as soon as I could. Because of its popularity, the game ran out of stock two days later. I got that in the mail on Wednesday as well and I played a round with some family members around my age last night. It was fun to the point where I decided to order the first expansion pack to the game. To add on to all of this shopping I did, I bought a good number of clothes on Thursday at the mall. I’m satisfied with all of my purchases so far.

My aunt is visiting for Chinese New Year and that has been keeping me busy for the past couple of days. I don’t really know what the highlight of it all is since there’s nothing new going on. At the most, my family takes her to places I went to plenty of times before and went to a family gathering . Perhaps I will have something worth raving about next week.

I barely noticed that I haven’t really added anything on this site for a while other than my blog posts. I’m just pointing that out but I don’t have anything in mind to add. Though… I am getting rid of 3 domains this year since I don’t want to keep them up anymore. The only active site on my collective is this blog. I would get rid of my collective too except I like the idea of it. Eh, I’m doing whatever that “floats my boat”.

I remember when I had to go to the library to pay my fines. £43.50 T_T It was my own fault really because I went on holiday and forget to renew them/give them back whilst I was away. Damn, university!

I looooove your new bag 😀 It’s so cute and looks really handy, actually. What’s Cards Against Humanity? I’m not really a gamer but I do like a bit of Sims 3 and Kingdom Hearts. Ah, I recently went clothes shopping too. Fun times 😀

    Happy Chinese New Year!

Fines aren’t that much fun to pay if I remember correctly. I’m glad that you got them taken care of, though I am interested in Cards Against Humanity. I might have to get them if I can find them. They might be a great investment.

I’m glad you are happy with your purchases!

Also Happy Chinese New Year! I hope you have a great New Year!

I fondly call Lunar New Year Asian Food Day. Gog, I can’t figure out how to make that previous sentence less messy with all the caps.
Oh god I just looked the game up and I’m going to have to buy it asap. At least I got money from Asian Food Day.
I have two domains but I don’t really use either of them frequently which is really bad. I think I’ve become a kind-of domain hoarder. I’m probably going to end up running out of domain credits soon. orz

    Hope things have been well!

Urgh I hate back to back classes. 1 hour class is long enough! I don’t know how I got through the whole day of school back in high school lol. Your day ends at 1PM? My days end at 5 … because I have holes in my schedule. But I’d rather have that than back to back haha.

Happy lunar new year! No one can visit me here … too much snow!

At least you blog regularly and that’s what a blog needs! Better than my treatment of it.

Really? I know several mixed AsianxWhite. I don’t know many other mixed races unless you count Hispanic.

LOL these Mexicans! I laughed so hard at that! My brothers have white-people alcohol tolerance while I’m the one who has the Asian. However my cousin who is full Asian is also a heavy drinker. But I don’t think he’d beat my brothers.

Thanks for the link to sushi rolls.

I don’t want people buying me domains, I don’t even like asking them to get me a domain. =( So forget I talked about this lol.

Probably Asians don’t like facial hair because it doesn’t look clean!

    Take care!

    Hey chica!
I would love to figure out a way to rearrange my schedule to create less stress. Privileges of being in college I suppose. ^_^
Absolutely love the bag. I actually might come and steal it from you. ^_^

Maybe you’ll see your place in a different light while taking your aunty around!

    Happy Lunar New Year!

I have Cards Against Humanity + the first expansion too! There’s a second expansion that I’m thinking of getting as well. I really like it, but I only get to play it when friends are over, and well… only certain friends. It’s not as fun when you play with someone who doesn’t have the same humor, heh.

Wow, getting rid of 3 domains is a lot. I’m hoping to sell one of mine this year too. I’ve been trying to cut down on the number of sites I have.

    Happy Chinese New Year!

Hahahaha, so you’re getting rid of your another 3 domains, ha? Hahaha, I guess you wouldn’t need to delete your collective site because, the site are just awesome. HAHAHAHA I don’t know what to say, lol.
And, gong xi fa chai to your aunt! Chinese New Year in Malaysia are just great, unless you can’t stand with the noisiness of the fireworks and then firecracker 😉
Well, I’m back on blogwalking! I missed blogwalking, lol. Hahaha

I have been meaning to play “Cards Against Humanity” for a long time. I hear nothing but hilarious things about it. Your shopping trip sounds like a lot of fun. I feel like I need to do something like that soon just to treat myself, hehe. Enjoy your visit with your Aunt! =]

I just spent a fuck load of money today so hearing that you’ve been doing a lot of shopping makes me feel better about that haha.

That bag is gorgeous! I’m jealous.

  12. Kathy ☆ February 16, 2013 at 3:21 am

I love the bag! There are tons of canvas bags in our place, though it’s expensive that I would have to spend the rest of my year with my big boyish backpack that I used in my 6th grade days. Where did you buy it, anyway?

Having a domain collective is hard. You have to manage all of them at the same time. I tried having one before, it was just making me crazy coding too many layouts and templates for them and trying to think of names. Then school comes in to party. So I deleted them. 🙁

Happy CNY! I know it’s late. But you know, rather late than never. 🙂

February has gone by pretty fast for me, too. I really like your canvas bag! I really like canvas bags, but I don’t really need one since I have several bags that work just fine. And I’ve been spending too much money myself, haha. I had to buy some books for class and I’ve been going out to eat a lot. I think money just needs to grow on trees, haha.

I have two domains expiring within the month and I’ve decided not to renew them. I really like them both, but I just don’t have the time to actively keep up with them. I sometimes don’t even have the time for my blog!
