Happy Holidays
December 25, 2012

It’s that time of the year again! Whether you celebrate this holiday or not, Merry Christmas! Everyone has a different way of celebrating the holiday as well as having different reasons of doing so and it’s perfectly fine. I exchanged plenty of “Merry Christmas” text messages and tweets early on in the morning. Remember: it’s only a merry Christmas if you’re merry yourself.

I finally received my grades for 3 out of 4 of my classes I took during the fall and it turns out that I received an A for Computer Science/Info Systems, English, and Political Science. I am glad to say that all of my hard work brought great results so far. The final grade I’m waiting to see is Accounting, which I have no idea what my grade is. It’s definitely not an A but I’m happy if I end up with a 3.5 overall GPA. I think I’m off to a good start in college so far.

As far as the Spring semester goes, I’m not registering for classes anytime soon until the end of next month. If everything goes according to plan, I should be taking 4 classes again.

With Christmas passing by, New Years is just around the corner. This year was a pretty good year for me. Even though I was involved in some unfortunate situations that I didn’t want to be a part of, I’m glad that I pulled through. Even comparing myself from last year to this year, there are some things about me that changed… Or improved for the best. I found myself complaining a lot less this year because you basically waste more time complaining rather than getting the job done and moving on to the next task.

Happy holidays! I hope everyone had a happy and safe celebration.

Your hard work pays off, Nancy! I am sure that your Accounting grades will be better than C. I guess, B? πŸ˜€
Have a merrier merry Christmas! πŸ˜€

Haha that is so true. you have to be merry yourself to have a merry Christmas! I never get many texts and tweets about it though.

You are off to a great start! My first semester GPA was not even a 3. I hope you are taking 4 classes. I failed math this semester so I have to take it with my 4 classes next semester! I’m gonna be sooooo busy.

I’m glad that you changed and improved for the best, even when things weren’t so great. That’s what makes us grow up!

    Me rock finals? Hehehe no way. I got a B and a B- and a C though – I already mentioned math. =/

My brother is a lazy bones. He’s in grad school so he’s not looking for work yet. But a lot of people work during grad school!

Wow your brother is 12, a little old to be still punching you. My brother stopped punching me when he was 10. That was the age when boys stopped being mean anyway lol.

I was talking to my friend about a GUY who doesn’t believe in premarital sex and a girl who does. They still make it work out well though, unlike me bahaha. Not that I’m a prude who doesn’t believe in premarital sex.

I think I’ve known you for like two years, wow. Happy New Year Nancy! <3

    Happy Holidays! πŸ™‚

Congrats on all of your hard work, Nancy! You deserve those grades. You studied your butt off this past semester!

How can you do that? Will there be classes available? I wish I could take a whole month off! *jealous*

I made a New Year’s layout. I wanted to make it because I figured it would be easy and since I needed a layout change I was going to make it until I found out that WordPress wasn’t working so I deleted it and now I am just using FanUpdate. Still good, imo but not as good as WordPress. Easier to handle though. πŸ™‚

Hey Nancy, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Keep up the awesome work that you do at school. I think you’ll go really far in life because you always sound so responsible and motivated with school-related things.

I can’t wait for the new year to come. 2012 has been pretty awful for me in terms of regretting NOT going back to school. Don’t do what I did! lol

Ooh that’s great to hear. I knew you could do it. Nah, don’t worry too much about Accounting, I’m sure you got a good grade.

I’m glad that you’re off to a good start and also, that’s good that you’ve improved a whole lot.

Happy Holidays back at ya and hopefully you have a good New Year!

You are off to a great start, hopefully the accounting grade will surprise you – in a good way. πŸ™‚

I’m not ready to reflect on 2012 because it doesn’t seem like it should be over. I mean until today it felt like fall weather.

Oddly enough I normally just hang out on facebook to upload pictures. I’m going to break facebook with all the pictures. haha. I’m trying to get some things made up to sell and trying to get some more painting orders – all of this just so I can pay for the stupid application fee for school. >_< Still not sure which city I'm going to apply for. Pittsburgh, Cincinnati or Denver.

Congrats on getting good grades! Seeing good results from hard work really pays off and it’s a really great feeling.

Good luck on getting your grades for Accounting, I’m pretty sure you also aced it. I wish I was just as smart as you! πŸ˜‰

Anyway, I think we never seem to stop improving each year, learning from our mistakes and experiences, which makes life more interesting and exciting. I wish you a great 2013 and Happy Holidays!
I hope you enjoyed celebrating this joyous season πŸ™‚

Great job on the GPA. I ended with a 3.2, actually went down 1 point, it was pretty stressful this semester because I started working full time & had 6 classes but now I’m used to it, so next semester will be better. πŸ™‚

I’m pumped for 2013! Mostly due to the fact I’m graduating, yay! haha
    Happy Holidays!

Well done on all the A’s! It’s so relieving when all your hard work actually pays off. You should be very proud.

Hope you had a good Christmas!! I don’t usually get that excited about Christmas anymore, it’s not as fun as when you’re a kid, oh well, I was still ‘merry’ I guess.

Congrats on the grades!! Hopefully you do just as well nest semester.

Hope you have a happy new year!!

    xx
