It’s March… Already?!
March 2, 2013

After 2 weeks of school, I think I am finally used to getting up early again… But because of it, I wake up unnecessarily early during my off days. I can’t believe I’m already going on to my 3rd week of school and it’s already March!

How is school so far? — Even though 2 weeks passed by, I have been super busy with class-related things. I usually spend the time I have between classes working on assignments or editing/formatting my lecture notes.

On Monday, I got to school at 9:10 am and didn’t find parking until 9:50 am… Which means I spent 40 minutes looking for parking. I suppose parking is that bad considering how we barely started the semester. Thankfully, I wasn’t in a rush to find parking since my class starts at 10:45 am.

I had my music fundamentals class cancelled on Tuesday morning. Despite the fact that I woke up at 5:30 am that day, it wasn’t a total loss since I ended up helping 3 classmates with some of the topics being taught in the class. I did what I could to fully explain what’s what and how it works and it seemed like I did a decent job since they said they understood the *stuff* better.

Wednesday was my longest day out of the week. My first class started at 10:45 am and my last class ended at 10:00 pm with a couple of other classes in between. Thursday was alright; though I was working on getting my Speech presentation finished for a while only to find out that the class was cancelled. At least I don’t need to worry about finishing up the presentation anymore. In between my afternoon classes, I had lunch with a couple of friends on Wednesday and Thursday. Hurray for socializing!

Friday was a good day overall. I didn’t have class but I still had to go to school to fully enroll into my Speech class since I am waitlisted. I was supposed to be rolled into enrollment but since I’m overloading my course unit this semester, I had to go to the admissions office to override the system. It turned out that I had to file paperwork AGAIN to enroll into the class. It was really a waste of time since I have to wait until next week to get the job done. I am still upset over the situation but it’s for a good reason.

Despite of all of that mess, I got to spend the rest of my Friday with my boyfriend. This made my day a whole lot better. We played a game of Cards Against Humanity, went to my high school’s band room to buy bowling tickets, went to a middle school and helping out a couple of kids play their clarinets, walking a few blocks to find some place to eat for dinner, and finished our day by sitting in the balcony of Barnes & Nobles. We ended up eating at this Argentinian restaurant because we were looking at the display menu outside and a waiter convinced us to try it out. I actually liked the meal and you can check it out on Instagram.

I guess I could end this post now considering how I have a  good amount of homework to complete and whatnot.

I swear you are too darn nice… you stayed at school despite having no class to help some friends. That’s just super considerate and nice. “:)

Parking at my school is about the same. You kinda have to stalk people to their cars. AHHAHa

Yay for socializing! HAHA Those rare times are so awesome. 🙂 Dude time with boyfriends, is the best. THE BEST. Wish my best friend was in town so i could hang with her too. )’:

    Good luck with homework!

I hate when i wake up early on the days I can stay in bed :[ It’s the only days i can rest but i guess it’s because we’re used to already like you mentioned.

Wow 40 minutes to find a parking space is a lot >.< I don't think I would have the patience to look around for that long.

Your time with your boyfriend sounds fun, the meal you had looks really good right now considering that i'm very hungry at this moment ^.^

Holy 40 minutes to find parking! That is insane! I live in a small town so it’s never a problem anywhere to find parking, I think I would have a nervous break down if it toke me that long to find somewhere to park!

sounds like your school work keeps you pretty busy, I would be a little hard done by to if on my days off I woke up early when I could’ve slept in Lol

Don’t you love how February just flew by? 😛 Haha, that just means the end of the semester is getting that much closer!

Parking is a terror everywhere x___X I’m so glad I don’t drive. I feel like it’s such a waste of time looking for parking when you could be sleeping or studying or something. D:

Aw, so many canceled classes! They’re a blessing at times, but I’m sorry they were inconvenient for you 🙁 especially if you had to wake up early for them. It’s good that waking up early didn’t end up being for nothing though!

I have to get up at 5:30 AM every weekday because my high school starts really early. I hope that I get a better schedule in college where I don’t have to wake up before the sun rises.

I had to wait 30 minutes to find a parking space at a huge, crowded mall before. It was awful because I seriously couldn’t find an empty space anywhere and ended up parking on another lot that was really far away.

I’m glad that you’re enjoying school so far! It’s so weird for you to have just started, though. I’ve already been in school for a month and a half and spring break is coming up soon. Yay for a break!

Bah, the admissions office can be such a pain. I’ve heard so many stories about people who have filed paperwork for a course and then they can’t find it anymore. Anyhow, I hope it all gets figured out!

That’s good that you’re used to getting up early again. I never got used to it! My husband still wakes up early on his own without an alarm, but I’m total opposite of him on that, haha. I sleep in whenever I can.

Wow, 40 minutes is a long time to look for parking! I’d get pretty frustrated. My school has a lot of garage parking, so if I couldn’t find free parking, I’d give up and pay.

I’m glad you had a good Friday with your boyfriend, and I hope you’ll get into your Speech class!

Honestly, these past two months have flown by! I am glad classes are going good for you; I’ve been struggling to keep up with mine xD

Parking is always a nightmare at schools x.x I have a hard time getting dropped off, let alone actually parking there! My English professor was actually late the other day because he couldn’t find a parking spot, so we almost didn’t have class.

Oh gosh that’s a really late day on Wednesday! I don’t think I could do that to be honest, but kudos to you for sticking it out =) My longest days are from 10:10am-4:00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Oooh I would love to go to an Argentinian restaurant! I love trying out new foods, especially if they are recipes handed down from generation to generation. The meal itself looks absolutely delicious!

Good luck on your studies and have a great day!

Your week seems to have been pretty busy. 😡 I never really had much trouble with the parking in places except for when there were a lot of events or something going on. Fridays are typically very busy for practically every place here, though, especially schools.

I’ve never actually heard of Cards Against Humanity or anything, but it sounds pretty interesting and fun to play. :p
