More Shopping
February 16, 2013

With another week passing by, I realize that I have a couple of more days before the spring semester starts. I was pretty much productive every day this past week with my aunt visiting and having to take her to some places nearby. There was also some family gatherings here and there so that kept me even busier.

I went to the mall to go shopping for clothes every day from Monday through Thursday this past week. I ended up buying totes, shirts, hoodies, and fragrances from Abercrombie and their branched stores. I also had the chance to buy a good amount of nail polishes so I can have a choice in deciding what color I want to paint my nails in the future. It’s totally worth it overall since I enjoyed shopping and didn’t go totally broke. Since I really enjoyed playing Cards Against Humanity the first time the other day, I bought an expansion pack to the game which came in the mail last Monday.

For some reason, I wanted to take additional units this semester for the past few weeks. I had a debate about it with myself and finally decided to take on one extra class so I can fulfill some requirements early. With that, I switched a course to ease my schedule a bit. Luckily, the class I wanted to take was open so I was enrolled without much of a problem. The only “problem” I faced was having to wait to receive the authorization form from the Admissions & Records official. It was a success so in total, I am taking 6 classes this upcoming semester which includes Statistics, Physical Anthropology, Music Fundamentals, Macroeconomics, Public Speaking, and Philosophy.

I’m looking forward to the semester even though it’s not going to be easy. As stressful as this could be, the “rewards” are great in the long run. I suppose I can use that as my motivation.

That’s a lot of shopping! That’s good that you didn’t spend everything. Sounds like a win-win there 🙂 I’m glad you were able to get into the class you wanted to. A few of the ones you’re taking sound really interesting. I’ve always liked statistics and music classes. Good luck with your classes!

Good for you on deciding to take some extra credits. It might be a big pain now, or seem a little overwhelming but you’ll be so much happier in the end during your last semester, especially if that means you can take it easy then. Sounds like you have some challenging classes, so good luck to you!! =D

I would love to be able to shop 4 days in a row and come out feeling like I didn’t go totally broke 😛 I’m glad you enjoyed it, though! It’s always a great feeling to go shopping and realize you didn’t just spend your life savings.

Good luck with the new semester! 6 classes seems like a handful, but I’m sure you’re going to do great in the end! I love how you’re motivated 🙂 you need to send me some of that motivation!

6 classes …woah. That IS alot! However, I think you will be just fine 🙂 I love school shopping, though, ever since I got to college I don’t seem to do it anymore haha. I need some new nail polish…all of mine are old and dried up, but then again I rarely do my nails!!

I’m going to post a really serious / important / sad / happy blog post later tonight or tomorrow. I hope you read it 🙂 I could use your kind hearted words haha.

Good luck with your upcoming semester!

I miss family gatherings D: I’m always missing them because I’m at university now.

Also, YAY SHOPPING! I’m slightly jealous that you do get to go shopping because I totally broke right now T_T You should show us some pictures of what you bought! I love buying new nail polish colours 🙂 What’s your favourite brand? And colours?

Man, Nancy. That’s a lot of classes! I’m sure you can handle it, though but phew. Don’t think I could. Haha.

Guys are definitely weird nowadays. I think there’s something in the water over here. Don’t worry, I’m sure it’ll spread to the US soon 😉

Oooh I hope you enjoyed your family gatherings! That’s cool that you got some nice things from shopping and got that expansion for Cards Against Humanity. I really need to find that game 😛

    Good luck on your classes!

:O I wish I could go shopping for new stuff everyday! I really could use some new clothes, but I don’t have the time (or transportation haha) and I’ve been trying to save my money. Bahh, being a broke college student sucks!

Sheesh, you’ll have a loaded semester, but you can do it! I’m currently in macroeconomics and in statistics as well. My stats teacher is pretty awful though, so that’s proving a bit more difficult than I thought it would be. When do you start? It seems weird that you have started yet to me, since we started a month ago.
