Wow, it’s Thursday already? It’s the end of week 8 (out of 10) already?! There are so many things going on right now from school to work to projects outside of both. It’s good in a way that I am keeping myself busy by being productive and challenging myself to new experiences. However, I think I finally reached my limit so I’ll need to finish some existing projects before starting new ones. I should do some retail therapy after I’m done with the quarter

1. Autumn Feel

One of the many things I like about my school is that there are so many nice sceneries. I appreciate the every effort the school makes to keep the plants and habitat alive. Even looking over the parking lot is nice because of the nice cars we have 😹😹.

2. Korean BBQ

Even though I’m trying to cut back on eating meat, Korean BBQ is still my weakness (along with a couple of other exceptions). At least I’m eating Korean BBQ once a season rather than having it every other week. PS. Banchan = ❤️❤️❤️

3. It’s Research Time

Last month, a professor recruited me and another person to take part in creating a poster based on a research. I see this as a win-win situation because the work I do here count towards my TA hours and I have some research-related experience. I can’t believe we’re presenting our poster on Saturday! So far, we are on top of things and our poster looks cute and effective (hurray for Photoshop). Our topic is about using free and/or low cost textbooks in higher education.

4. Hail to the Mermaid

My boyfriend had a free drink on his Starbucks account and gave it to me ❤️. My go-to drink at Starbucks (or any other coffee shop) is the caramel frappuccino. This time around, I had a caramel brulée iced latte and it was pretty good! The thing I like about frappuccino is that it lasts a while because I always have to wait for the ice to melt.

What’s your favorite coffee shop drink? It can be a tea too if you’re bossing.

Don’t overdo it! And I think you deserve some retail therapy after the semester ends 😀 Nothing wrong with a little treat!

Your school does look nice! Love the fish photo — the water looks so clean!

KOREAN BBQ! Come to Korea so we can do this together! 😀 Seriously, you and Chynna need to haul butts here.

And ooooh! That poster project sounds like a wonderful opportunity. I would love to see the finished results if you don’t mind letting me have a peek. 😀

OM, NOM, NOM at the Creme Brulee latte *____* I wished our Starbucks had that! I’d totally give that a try! Or maybe I already did . . . they may had it as a limited edition item 🙁 Still. NOM. My favourite coffee drink is generally iced latte, btw! I can’t do Americano X_X I need some sort of milk with coffee.

Um, your campus is totes picturesque! Do you mind if I ask you where you go?

I literally just had KBBQ last night, nothing beats really good banchan – Especially when the kimchi is made in-house and really good.

I’m happy about the holidays since starbucks rolled out their peppermint mocha latte’s, it’s my go-to drink during the season! However, my go-to coffee shop is Blue Bottle. Super good!!!

I love the Autumn feel, it’s such a great season when you know ‘winter is coming’. Maybe that’s because I love winter..

The BBQ does look very delicious. I know what you mean about cutting back on meat. I tried to stop eating it altogether but I found it was really difficult. I decided that I wanted to be conscious about eating meat, try and select cruelty free brands or RSPCA approved. I also feel healthier when I don’t eat a lot of meat, but need some for a good balance.

Good luck with presenting the poster! It’s great that it counts towards your hours. I am sure it will be great. 😀

I have never had a star bucks coffee. I want to try one and hopefully will one day. That one looks so delicious.

Where do you reside in again??? I don’t have snow here yet but it’s always overcast; sun is a rarity this month. November always seems to be a month for jam packed events, projects and deadlines. I find that this month generally is when I experience a higher than normal job scoping because I’m worn out from my projects at work, and home trying to find something new or a change.
I am a sucker for korean food and wouldn’t be able to not have meat while I’m having such fantastic meals.

That’s nice that your school is scenic! I love that you guys have a koi fish pond.

Yummm, I want some Korean BBQ now. Even if you’re trying to cut back on something, it’s good to have it once in a while to fill that craving 😉 For me, it was ramen, haha. I was going every other week for a while too.

I’m glad the poster is going well! I hope the presentation goes well too!

I’ve never been able to get into coffee, but I’ve been drinking a lot of tea lately. My preference is green and black teas!

CPP is the best. I love when you can smell the eucalyptus. That’s my favorite tree and scent.

I used to overdose on Starbucks. I’ve calmed down considerably now, though. Favorite drink used to be pumpkin spice–I used to order nothing but PSLs for the months they were available–but I found out this year they’re not dairy-free even with soy, which honestly explains a lot. My staple drink otherwise is a soy mocha. For a time the employees at the campus Starbucks knew me enough to just start making a tall soy mocha as soon as they spotted me. I’ve taken to ordering my drinks skinny now, though, just for the lower sugar content, but I feel like to get healthy I just need to cut out sugar completely–which means limiting myself to teas only at Starbucks.

It’s finally starting to feel like fall here in Texas, but it’s taking forever, as the leaves are finally falling!

Though, I’m worried about winter, mostly.
Glad you’re good and Korean BBQ looks awesome. I don’t think I’ve had that yet, but I have had authentic Korean food and loved it.

Don’t drink too much Starbucks, now 😀
