For accounting, it turns out that I earned an A in the class! I got a 73% on the final without the curve and with the curve, I got a 91%. If I had to choose between liking financial and managerial (this class) accounting, I would probably pick managerial because the calculations are easier to follow in my opinion.

Earlier this week, I was a participant of a dissertation research study on PTSD/trauma-related disorders. So basically, they gave people without PTSD a situation to look over where we recovered a memory about a traumatic event from decades ago and want to sue the abuser and fill out papers pretending that we do have PTSD. The main point of this research is to see how well people without PTSD get away with and pretend to have PTSD when it comes to having a recovered memory since the statute of limitations have exceptions regarding this. The thing is that there is one person that actually experienced the story that was given to us so they’re the “control group”. I personally think I did an *acceptable* job since I’m not really fond of this kind of stuff. If you’re interested in knowing more about this research or it didn’t make sense, let me know so I can e-mail you the details if anything.

Today, I took a driving trip 35 minutes away from my house to the school I got accepted to drop off my transcripts. It was my first time driving there solo and I think I did a decent job relying on memory to get me there. After dropping off my transcripts, I met up with my boyfriend on campus before his class and went for some Round Table pizza. He bought us a heart-shaped mushroom and pineapple pizza. It was delicious and the dough was legit since it had that puffy feel.. They claim to have freshly made dough instead of frozen dough so that makes sense. We then passed by the Valentine’s Day booths and one of them convinced us to “get married” by giving us ring pops and a certificate. That was cute, haha. Before I left, I went to see the department chair of my major and had a good chat.

The spring semester starts next week *o*. Happy Valentine’s day too~ Remember to take advantage of Valentine’s Day specials (the actual specials, not the inflated specials).

That heart-shaped pizza is too cute! 😀

And congrats on A! Getting an A is always great.

That’s interesting you participated in that research. Was that research mixed-methods or was it more qualitative or quantitative. From what you wrote, it sounds more qualitative.

Anyway, happy Valentine’s Day, Nancy! Take cares 😀

    91%! Congrats, girl 😀

That dissertation actually sounds interesting. I don’t know much about PTSD/trauma-related disorders but if I was asked to join I probably would. Research can be a lot of fun 🙂

That heart shape pizza is cute and when I saw your post on Instagram I was like, “WOAH, WOAH!” Looool. I’m glad you had a good Valentine’s Day!

That study is a bit confusing to me, but it sounds like they’re trying to look for ways to distinguish who is actually a PTSD sufferer and who is not — which I actually think is a great idea, because there are a lot of people who fake it.

I hope the spring semester goes well for you. 🙂

Wow, that pizza looks so cute, haha. I wouldn’t know what a V-day like that would be since I’ve always been single on V-days, haha. Congrats on the grades!!
