6 weeks down and 10 weeks to go (of the semester). I thought I was going to have a test for Philosophy and an exam for Anthropology this week.. But it is postponed until next week. This means I have a test of some sort for all of my classes except for Speech next week.

I’m pretty confident when I say that I’m up-to-date with every assignment for all of my classes. It wasn’t as bad as the first couple of weeks considering how I didn’t need to spend all of my free time doing work. As far as my grades go, I should have an A in every class except for Philosophy (which is a D). It’s mostly because we have one graded assignment so far and I misinterpreted the assignment. Hopefully, I could cover the grade up with other assignments in the future…

Parking was pretty good to me this week considering how I didn’t struggle to find spots (it’s all about timing) or had anyone giving me a hard time regarding my parking spot. I also got my first credit card from Discover! At first, Discover sent me an “invitation” for their card and got denied since I don’t have a legitimate income. My dad ended up cosigning for the card and got me approved. Either way, I’m paying for my purchases and it’s all cool.

Despite all of that school work, I got some “social life” squeezed into my schedule. On Tuesday, I went to the mall with a friend from my high school’s band and ate at In-N-Out Burgers between my morning and afternoon class. On Wednesday after stats class, another friend and I bought tacos to eat at her house…. And played with her cute dogs :3. Then had lunch with her again on Thursday after stats class.

On Friday, I spent the day with my boyfriend. We ate at Marie Callendar’s, watched G.I. Joe: Retaliation in 3D, went on a couple of trips around places, and had yogurt at Yogurt Haven. I really liked the movie. The Rock played a better-fitting role in Retaliation than Snitch (in my opinion). I guess it’s because more combat took place in this movie. There were times when I was hoping that he’d do the rock bottom1 or something; but then again, it’s a “military-oriented” movie. Well… Iron Man 3 comes out in 33 days! Speaking of which, it’s going to be April already?!

Oh no, I hope you have another graded assignment in Philosophy! I had similar issues before in class and I ended up with a C. Well that’s better I guess. But you have straight A’s!

I can’t get a credit card either because of my income and my mom refuses to help me because she thinks I need to be more responsible. So I still have to just pay with cash.

I’m happy you are squeezing in social life! So am I! But it makes me so busy. That’s nice you spent a whole day with your boyfriend!

I haven’t heard from you in a while so I thought maybe WordPress.com was getting to you! But I moved my blog to sanghee.three-words.net so there should be no problem now!

That’s really good that you’re up to date! It’s definitely hard settling back in when a new semester starts – I had or have troubles getting focused.

And it’s great to have a social life despite the hectic schedules of school life T_T. Iron Man 3!! I can’t wait for it 😀

Yeah, it’s already been nearly 3 months into 2013 and I feel like I haven’t done anything :/

That’s good that you haven’t given in to procrastination and are up-to-date with everything! I hope you’ll have more chances to raise your Philosophy grade. Congrats on getting As in everything else though!

I’m glad your dad helped you out with the credit card too. I think my parents did the same before I was able to apply for my own. I pretty pay for everything with credit card now. Easier than always carrying cash!

I didn’t realize there was another GI Joe movie, haha. I guess I’m really behind on what’s out in theaters right now. I am looking forward to Iron Man 3 though 🙂

Must be a good feeling to be up to date with all your work. Nothing worse than worrying about deadlines and getting everything done on time.

Ah I really need to start going to the movies more often.

That must feel good being up to date though! I’m so far behind with all of my assignments because of work, but I should be able to catch up now I’ve turned a lot of work down.
You’ll be able to cover your D grade easily, you seem to be doing so well in everything else!
Have fun with the credit card! My sister just got her first credit card and she feels really grown up hahaha!

I hope you can redo the assignment! I’ve done that a few times in college so far and the professors usually let me redo it. That’s really great you got straight A’s! ^^ Keep up the great work!

That’s really cool that you got a credit card, although I personally don’t really like them. They are good for getting credit though xD

Sounds like you had a good time going out with people! It’s hard to find a social life when you’re so busy =)

    Have a great week!

We always feel there’s no time and to be honest there might not be, but you sometimes have to make the effort and I’m glad you’re managing to have some fun!

I have yet to see the Iron Man 3 Trailers here in Australia but I am excited!

I went back to WordPress and checked. It seems Akismet blocked 10 comments, 6 of which in month of March. I’m assuming some of your comments and Georgina’s are in there. I don’t think there’s a way to unblock comments that got filtered out. =(

OMG I forgot Nicki Minaj existed. Mainly because none of my friends talk about her. But lots of people love Lady Gaga.

When I’m 40, I’d love to be carded. It’s flattering. But the woman looked more like 50 than anything but since I judge by Asian standards because of my mom, I’d say the woman is a lot younger than my mom haha. She obv knew she looked old for her age.

    Take care!

Nancy, Nancy! You’re always having tests. Haha. I feel well lazy because you always seem to be revising and I’m just here sipping coke and watching Doctor Who.

Good luck with covering that grade! I’m sure you can do it – and, wow, Ms. Smarty Pants, right here. 😛

I wish I could drive. I’m still taking my lessons but they’re currently on hold because of university. Hopefully I’ll start back up and start legitimately driving 🙂 I was watching Confessions of a Shopaholic last night and after that I don’t think I’ll ever get a credit card. I’m kind of bad with money, anyway, so no way. Haha.

Can you please send me some In-N-Out? I want to try some 🙁

Having all assignments done? What is that feeling? Lol, I always feel behind in my classes, even if my grades are fine. I just always feel like I’m procrastinating and doing stuff at the last minute (which I do, haha). so kudos to you!

Yay for your credit card! I’ve applied for two different ones but have been denied both times, even though I have a job. *shrug* It’s not a big deal, but I’ll have to get my first one probably through my bank just so I can start building credit.

    Glad you’re doing well. 🙂
