The Road to Graduation
May 31, 2016

This morning, I had my graduation pictures taken at school by a couple of friends. Graduation is less than 2 weeks away and I’m pretty excited! These next few posts will wrap up my experience as a college student. Over the years, I gained knowledge and experience from the things I do and take part of. The list below sums up my memorable moments from the past four years:

  • Started driving during halfway through my first year of college.
  • Going on countless dates with my awesome boyfriend.
  • Acing calculus class after a fallout back in 2010.
  • Magically pulling off a better grade than expected in multiple classes.
  • Boyfriend giving me a Pandora bracelet and building on it over the years.
  • Getting braces at the beginning of my 2nd year and having it removed almost two months ago ~ totally worth it.
  • Discovered a hobby for collecting stationery goods, shot glasses, cat plush dolls, and Disney keychains.
  • Favorite movie to this very day: Need for Speed.
  • Finding connections between what I learned at school and what I do at work.
  • Gaining an appreciation for dresses and booties.
  • Decorating our first and second Christmas tree together.
  • Learning how to cook different dishes.
  • Dining out at countless food places. To this day, my all time favorite ‘dish’ is the uni bowl.
  • Driving band kids a hundred miles out for their competition.
  • Road trippin’ to Yosemite, San Francisco, and San Diego with my boyfriend.
  • Making awesome colorful notes + cheat sheets + study guides.
  • Watching my lucky bamboo plants grow.
  • Becoming obsessed with Korean BBQ.
  • Weaseling my way through test-driving cars or sitting in nice cars.
  • Loving mall and Downtown Disney adventures.
  • Brewery adventures at school.
  • Flying out to different places for cyber security competitions.
  • Attending martial arts class a few times.
  • Being able to contribute as a student leader.
  • Attending various banquets with my boyfriend every year.
  • Finally getting a Disney Annual Pass.

Here are my top 5 picks from my graduation shoot. The setting for these pictures features the Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, and the school’s iconic “pointy” building (administration).

BEAUTIFUL. You’re rocking that outfit and that stoll. I love your dress and the shoes! I’d never wear them myself, but it suits you 200%! So pretty! I love the Japanese garden as your backdrop.

Kudos to you for all your accomplishments, Nancy. Four years passed by so fast (I still remember you being in high school LOL), but you’ve done so much! I’m so happy for you and proud of you. It’s been an honour watching you grow throughout your college years!

I can’t wait to see more of your graduation photos. That day is your special day, and I look forward to seeing what you share!

Right?! I can’t believe we’ve been keeping in touch for that long! I still remembered the Christmas card you sent out back in 2012 ;).

Wow I love your dress and shoe colour!!!!! I only just noticed they matched, I saw your updated Twitter picture but I didn’t see the shoes in it haha.

It is so easy to gain an appreciation for dresses! I need mooooooar myself. And when you find the right little pair of heeled booties, oh my god. I think you know the feeling.

Also, I must have missed something because I didn’t notice that you got your braces removed. Or I probably forgot, which is bad memory on my part haha. Your teeth look awesome now. ?

You’ve done awesomely Nancy. I am super proud of you especially representing a smart young woman working in a technical industry. *high five* Your future is nothing but bright 🙂

Yes! I bought low quality booties in the past and they didn’t work out too well. I ended up spending more on higher quality ones and it’s worth it!!

I gave an element of surprise about taking my braces off X’D. Even though I wear retainers now, at least it’s removable ^__^.

Thank you for your wishes, Georgie ♥~
