Summer, Class, and Food
June 28, 2013

I started my summer class on Monday! Wanting to take it easy while catching up on classes, I decided to take Business Law. I am extremely lucky for being enrolled in the class to begin with because the class was full and there were 20+ people on the waiting list. In addition, it turns out that one of my friends is taking the class as well; so that’s a plus for me. Passing this class will help boost my GPA up and take me a step closer into transferring to a different school by Fall of 2014.

So far, I am liking my Business Law class. The instructor (who is a lawyer by profession) seems to be a funny man and he knows the materials pretty well… We had our first exam yesterday and it was alright. I hope I passed the exam. Regardless, I have another exam coming up next Tuesday. For sure, I am enjoying the parking on campus because there are plentiful of spots available. Since the class takes place during the early morning, the heat shouldn’t be a problem for me. Hopefully the rest of the summer session will go by smoothly.

Highlights, highlights, highlights… I watched Monsters University last Friday. The movie was pretty good considering how Monsters, Inc. was released over a decade ago. Go childhood animated movies! On Tuesday, I had onigiri for the first time and it was delicious. I might decide to *learn* how to make onigiri and make it a regular snack/meal/food.

My boyfriend’s birthday was on Thursday and to celebrate the occasion, we had a massive water balloon fight. We had around 350 water balloons for the three of us and it was fun throwing water balloons everywhere. The weather was pretty hot yesterday so that was freshening. With Friday being today, my boyfriend and I went to California Pizza Kitchen to have brunch with one of my friends from band. I ended up ordering myself a Spicy Korean Barbecue Pizza which had kimchi in it. Ever since I saw this video on YouTube, I have been curious about the pizza and it was satisfying to my curiosity :D.

With June almost over with, July is around the corner! We’re already hitting the 7th month of 2013?! Even though I’m technically on vacation, I’m still busy in terms of me going to school, out, or just being lazy. Why is time flying by so fast?

Yay for getting into your Business Law class. 🙂 I hope you did well on that exam. It sounds like a difficult class for me. 🙁

I think I liked Monsters Inc. better than Monsters U. Everyone raved about MU, but ehh, I think they could’ve done better. I do have to agree that it was an enjoyable movie, but just not up to my expectation.

Wait, you’re serious? CPK has a Spicy Korean Barbecue Pizza?! I’ve only went there a few times and I’ve never seen it on the menu before. I must go and try it some time soon! :O

Congratulations! And you probably did fine on the exam, I always feel like I did well when I didn’t and vice-versa.

I’m still not sure if I’ll go see it, the movies are so expensive considering you could wait for it to be on Netflix in a couple months. Though, especially if you want to see it in 3D, which sounds amazing.

I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed either, people always said time moves faster the older you are and it’s scary how true it honestly is, thus far.

That is an awesome way to celebrate your boyfriend’s birthday! Make sure that you relax before you classes start again, though!

I tried making onigiri once. It’s like making sushi – you need filler and sticky rice and to squeeze them together – but easier. Onigiri is tasty! 😀

Oh hai! I changed hosts 🙂 anyhow, that sounds like a fun birthday. I must do something like that for my upcoming birthday. Hahaha

Yeah, I can’t believe that it will be July soon. Time flew by. I remember it being my wedding and then after that so much happened.

    Good luck in that class!

I still want to see Monsters U but not as much as other movies.

Good luck with your class! It seems you have it already because you were able to get in a full class! I admire your ability to study during school breaks. I don’t want to do anything!

I really want to see Monsters University but I have to look for a good theater here. Because my town is too small for theaters I always wait until someone can take me, and now that I can take myself I do want to look for a closer one too.

Happy birthday to your boyfriend! Time flies so fast.

I saw Monsters University last week, too, and I thought it was really good. 😀 I actually wanted to go see World War Z instead, though, but since everyone I wanted to watch it with already saw it, I ended up seeing Monsters U, which was still great, nonetheless.

I LOVE WATER BALLOON FIGHTS. I was in one last month, and it really was refreshing considering how hot it was. I got completely soaked, lol.

I might try the Spicy Korean Barbecue Pizza next time I go to Cali Pizza Kitchen. I don’t like kimchi, but maybe the pizza factor will make it taste better for me.

You know, you just described two of the things on my to-do list: watch Monsters University and make onigiri :p

I’m glad your Business Law class is going well! It’s kind of nice to take an easier class during the summer. It’s not as stressful, and it gives you something to do 🙂

I want to see Monsters University! I hear good things about it. I like onigiri, though only if it has a filling. It feels kind of plain otherwise!

Wow, that’s a lot of water balloons! That sounds really fun though. I haven’t had a water balloon fight in a long time, but that’d be so refreshing in this heat.

Time is really flying by for me. It feels kind of weird that it’s July already, haha.

Hi. I know I’ve been a stranger lol, hopefully I’m still welcomed here?  See, you are better than me, I could not take summer classes this summer, I needed a break. I know I’m a little late, but why are you transferring schools? (Idk if you already mentioned this in another blog post or not?)

It’s great to have an instructor who is actually in the field that he teaches! You get a lot of good insider information I think…kinda like hands on. I’m sure you passed! =]

See, that’s so cute…I want to have a water balloon fight! Time is flying buy WAY to fast. I have to go back to school next month! Ugh…already.

Anywho…I actually have doctors orders to write more. Its sopposed to be therapeutic for me, and help me with a few issues I am having. So the goal is to blog at least 3 times a week. I’m proud about the fact that I haven’t completely dropped off the digital world and I still have my blog, even if I don’t use it ya know? I hope all is well, and I’ve missed you! 

Ooh, Business Law seems interesting! I had to drop that class before x-x so I never got a chance to take it. I’d love to hear how the class is like some time! 🙂

You’re just like a master at Asian cuisine, aren’t you 😛 You should make some onigiri some time! I still have yet to try sushi x)

Happy belated to your boyfriend! Waterballoon fight seems suuuper fun 🙂 and that’s a heck of a lot of water balloons!

It’s awesome you took business law. I’m actually in awe at people who really have the urge to study law because I just can’t- I don’t think I can bear reading through all the thick books and whatnot haha
Good luck on business law *o*

Monsters University was really fun! My friend said Monsters Inc was perfect and this prequel is just a good addition, a good spice to the original… all I can say is that both of them are really, really fun and will forever be “the” one from pixar for me xD

Good luck on your exams!! Summer classes sound like a butt to me, but you seem to be optimistic about them so hopefully they’ll go well 🙂

Ahh, I’ve heard nothing but good things about MU, luckyyyyy. And ONIGIRI IS SO GOOD UGH THE CRAVINGS.

You and your boyfriend sound like you had a lot of fun 😀 😀 And 350 water balloons for three of you guys? Damn yo.
