Tests for Days
April 6, 2013

This week was a really hectic week for me as far as school goes. I had 5 tests/midterms/exams and a speech performance which almost mentally killed me. But I survived and I’m hoping for an easier week next week; except for the fact that I’m going to receive the results of my grades.. Which is going to drop my overall grade for every class, I bet.

On Monday, I had to take an exam for Statistics and it was okay… I believe I did an acceptable job on it. Then I had a Philosophy test afterwards. I totally winged it and probably got a failing grade or something. Now, I’m hoping I can get a B in the class (or an A if I’m that lucky) and an A for the rest of my classes so my overall GPA won’t plummet.

I had it easy on Tuesday with only two classes and ending the day early at 1:10pm. On my way home, I stopped by a local Ralphs for cat food & Baskin-Robbins next door for ice cream… Which I didn’t think about how I was going to drive home with it. I ended up eating most of the ice cream while driving although I wanted to eat it at home. Oh well.

Then Wednesday came… The longest day of the week. I had an Anthropology exam and an Economics midterm. I really studied for my Anthropology midterm and even had my boyfriend help me out. I got through the exam without much complications compared to the one for Philosophy. I’m really confident about the calculations for the genotype and phenotype ratio :D. As for my Economics midterm, I didn’t do too well on calculating the CPI because I totally forgot the formula. The rest shouldn’t be too bad though.

Thankfully, the last day of school for the week is Thursday. I had a test/midterm for Music at 7:30 in the morning. Being the über band geek I am, I totally finished the whole thing in 10 minutes. If only every class was that easy ;-;. I guess I have to actually put more effort into everything else if that’s the case. Finally for my speech, I didn’t do as good as my introduction presentation. I ended up talking about cyber security since someone else already chose something really close my original topic (that I already completed); but it’s not a total loss since I have some old research/informative papers saved from my previous classes relating to the topic.

With a long week behind me, my weekend started on Friday. I spent the day with my boyfriend and his siblings making sushi. We spent around 7 hours preparing, rolling, and putting the whole thing together; including a strawberry roulade. We made a total of what’s equivalent to 23 rolls of California Rolls with some masago (fish eggs) & sesame seeds on the top. It was a success and very delicious even though we couldn’t finish everything. In addition to the California Rolls, I made a couple of Spicy Scallop Rolls for the first time and it was pretty good. For sure, I had fun and the hard work was totally worth it :D. A picture of most of the food was posted on Instagram :D.

5 more days until spring break!!!!

Spring Break in five weeks, with all those tests I’d say you’re probably ready for Summer! Seven hours making sushi now that is a commitment, I’ve never made sushi before but I don’t think I would be very good at it. Where I live we’ve got a couple sushi places but there is this one place called Sakura and they have the best sushi and one of my favorite desserts deep friend mango ice cream! so good! Best of luck to you finding out your results on all your tests 🙂

Wow, that’s a lot of exams and tests, but it seems like the most part that you did a good job. I’m glad that your boyfriend helped you out and yeah for upcoming spring break! Do you have plans for it?

Sounds like you had a good weekend too.

Wow, that’s a lot of tests to have in one week! I hope you did well on them, and that you’ll have an easier week next week too.

That’s awesome that you guys made sushi. 23 rolls is a lot! Both the sushi and the roulade look really good though. They all look so perfectly rolled together 😀

That is one heck of a hectic week. (No bad joke intended)

Congrats on finishing school though. I can’t wait until mine is over. I am so stressed out it is amazing but it will be over soon enough.

I thought school was over? If it is….what is spring break about? I must have misunderstood something….

Wow! Spring Break has been over for the universities in my town for a couple of weeks. I don’t see how you guys deal with that much schooling. I would go nuts!! Of course it will probably set you up for life, so GO YOU!

I tried to go onto your blog the other day and it wasn’t working. Thank God it is now 🙂

I’m praying for you to have an easier week too, bab. You’re always so busy.

Hnngh, I love Baskin-Robbins. The first time I had it was when I was in China and I didn’t think they had it over here in the UK but they apparently do! I might have just been ignorant to the fact that it was over here, though. Kakaka.

I saw the picture of you guys making sushi and I was so damn jealous that I made plans to go eat sushi with my friend next week. Huhu ^-^
