Vegas Seafood Round II
April 8, 2014

A good friend and I went to have lunch at Vegas Seafood Buffet today to celebrate the midpoint of the semester. No, it’s not actually in Vegas (though I wish it was). If you’re a regular reader- first off, I’d like to thank you for being a reader and being a part of the community and second, you would probably recognize this post from 1½ months ago ☺. Anyways, I thought I’d make another post because I always have fun writing up food posts.

I really stuffed my plate the first time with all sorts of sushi such as pieces from the Philadelphia roll, spicy tuna roll, salmon nigiri, masago roe, tilapia fillets, and the likes. I finished this plate fairly quick.. I suppose it’s because I worked up an appetite from walking up several flights of stairs this morning since the parking lot is literally “up the mountain”. The tilapia fillet is still my favorite while the Philly roll comes in second. One of these days, I will figure out the secret recipe for these tilapia fillets XD.

Next, I got a handful of clams with a bit of ceviche on the side. It was perfect since I have been wanting clams recently so my taste buds are satisfied. Since the buffet served ceviche and shrimp cocktails, I would’ve thought octopus cocktails would be included too but no :(. But it’s okay, I’m already happy with the ceviche since it’s my first time seeing it served in an Asian buffet.

Thanks to the ‘grazing life’, I’m not used to eating a lot in one go anymore so I had to end my meal by trying out the buffet’s chocolate fountain. For anyone who love chocolate-dipped fruits, this is perfect for you!

The meal was decent and fitting for its lunch pricing. A lot of food places here can get pretty pricey so I’m fine with the price to quality ratio. My friend and I are planning to go out for another ‘big’ lunch sometime during finals season. Most likely, we’ll be eating elsewhere.

Have a great week~

Okay, it’s official…I definitely need to try sushi. It looks so yummy! I wonder if there’s a place near me that features an Asian buffet.

I am glad to hear that you had a good time with your friend, and that you’ve made plans to get together again. 🙂

So not a fan of sushi, but your photo looks so good! I do like rolls/sushi that are cooked, so I can do California rolls and the cooked shrimp sushi, but otherwise nothing raw for me!

And that chocolate dipped fruits look so yummy. I’m now craving chocolate. Thank you for that . . . I have none in the house! Ahhh! Must fix that!

You have a good week, too, Nancy! Take cares! <3

Yup I do remember that post. Though I can’t believe it’s already been 1.5 months since you posted that. Time flies!

Haha. Anyway, it’s really awesome how you’re always eating and blogging about all these super yummy food. It makes me crave for Japanese buffet and stuff myself with all the sushi I can find 😛

And that chocolate fountain would’ve definitely made me excited! I super love fruits and marshmallows dipped and covered in chocolate. Heavenly! <3
