My second attempt at preparing udon was a lot better than the first time. Enough water per serving was used so I didn’t need an extra bowl for the “leftovers” and the flavor of the miso soup wasn’t watered down. I saw some kamaboko (the fish cake with the pink lining) on the shelves and had to give it a try! In addition to the changes, the mushrooms were sliced and soft tofu were used in this meal (which explains why the tofu kind of broke apart). The meal was overall delicious ☺!

My boyfriend (being the awesome person he is) gave me a music note charm to add on to the Pandora bracelet he’s building me :D! Music played a significant role in my life so why not have it as a charm? The bracelet includes the “key to my heart” and “bear my heart” charms and two double heart with pink sapphire clips. I really like the bracelet and it’s super comfortable to wear ^__^.

For dessert, we went to a frozen yogurt place and treated ourselves to these tasty cold cups. I recently got into the whole frozen yogurt craze and this shop falls into my top 3 next to Pinkberry and Yogurtland as far as taste goes.

After going to the java programming class on Saturday, the class wasn’t as bad as I thought. I’m thankful that I took c++ beforehand with a really good instructor so I got most of the concepts down. I just need to learn the difference between the two languages and I should be able to pass the class. As a bonus, the program we use for class is compatible on my Macbook Pro so I don’t need to use a regular text editor.

As far as calculus goes, the class is going at a steady pace which makes math a bit more bearable. I tried taking AP Calculus 3.5 years ago and it didn’t go too well so I guess this is my redemption +___+. I’m on a good start knowing that I aced the first quiz. Hopefully I can ace the tests and ultimately ace the class.

The udon definitely looks good. NOOOOOOOM.

And I love Pandora bracelets! I love how your boyfriend got you a music note charm — very fitting for your musical nature! 😀 If I ever get a real Pandora bracelet, I’ll definitely get a music note, too!

Frozen yoghurt is one of my favourite things, so your image of them is making me want some now!

Java is something I tried in HS and failed to completely grasp. Then again, the only programming language I really took was Visual Basics, so I don’t think that helped me like C++ would have.

Good luck with your calculus course. If I took that, I’d probably have shot myself since I am just horrible at maths!

    Hi, Nancy! 🙂
I’ve actually never had udon, but from your picture, it really does look delicious! I like Japanese food a lot in general, so I should really give udon a try! XD
OMG OMG OMG, that bracelet is adorable~!!!! 😀 I love the little bear <3 It's sooooo cuuuteeee!!!
Frozen Yogurt in winter?? Ahhh it's much too cold where I live for that! So jealous 😛 haha

Even though, I’ve never had Udon, it looks delicious and a-mazing. Makes me hungry all over again. And that’s cute about the charm bracelet, I know for awhile I was building my own charm bracelet but stopped. I don’t know why but I left it unfinished regardless, that’s amazing that music played a big role in your life; and it is sweet that your bf is doing that for you =)

Oooh, the most I’ve ever done with computer language is learn a bit about html but that’s as basic as you get. One day I hope I have the time and patience to learn more languages, even I do have trouble talking at times.

Frozen yogurt is an amazing treat during anytime and I enjoy it mostly in the summer time when it’s scorching outside. I live in Texas, so it’s just murder in the summer time, but regardless, I always survive.

Good luck in Calculus. I have a funny story that I took Physics and Pre-Calculus in high school and if I was passing one, I was failing the other, vice versa. It’s pretty funny but it’s like my brain can’t process that much math or science together. Hahaha.

Wait, you made that udon!? I’m not doubting you or anything. I just thought “wow that’s something you’d find at a first-class ramen place!” Then again, there IS that broccoli, which I never find in a typical udon soup. Hey, who said you can’t add some right? You gotta get creative. I wouldn’t mind a bowl or two of that. In short, you’re a culinary expert. xD

Of course, some froyo’s nice too. I should go get some with friends at some point. When spring break comes, I’ll be sure to gather my friends and we’ll head down by the froyo place.

    Cute Pandora bracelet! 🙂

Good luck with your classes! It’s getting hectic on our end, given the midsems, but that is school life I suppose. But that’s okay. We all know the drill.

Ooh, the udon looks good! It’s making me crave some right now, haha. It suddenly got cold here and a hot bowl of udon sounds so good.

Aww, that’s sweet of your boyfriend. You have a cute bracelet! I especially like the bear charm 🙂

I used to be in a frozen yogurt craze, but there’s only a couple places here I like. Right now, I crave ice cream more than froyo XD

I’m glad the Java class isn’t bad! I liked Java a lot back when I was learning it, but I’m too used to Ruby now. I don’t know if I could go back to Java, haha. I hope Calculus continues to go well!

Frozen yogurt is becoming big again? That’s awesome! Hopefully more yougurt shops open up near me, all we have is TCBY.

I still haven’t tried my hand at JAVA. I do like how it has the built in garbage collector that C++ doesn’t have and I’ve always wanted to try and kill that to see how well it works.

That is so sweet of your boyfriend to create you a charm bracelet. They’re pretty expensive so you are very lucky! I don’t have one myself. My mum offered to buy me one for my 18th birthday but expensive jewellery scares me. I always think I will lose it or break it!

I’ve never tried frozen yoghurt and I feel like I’m missing out, big time. It looks amazing!

It’s nearly midnight, and I may have just eaten but I AM HUNGRY AGAIN.

You always do this to me, Nance T_T

The Pandora bracelet is so cute! I’ve always wanted one but I want someone to get one for me. Let me find myself a cutie boyfriend. Kakakaka.

Not big on frozen yoghurt here, in the UK, I don’t think. We do have a Pinkberry though, which I’ve been to once and absolutely loved.
