This Week’s Roundup VI
November 20, 2016

It’s pretty exciting to know that the year is ending in less than six weeks and the holiday season is right around the corner. Christmas decorations are already up and I’m already feeling the holiday spirit! All we need are the holiday music blasting on the radio 😹. Aside from the festive jazz, I’ve been working as the usual. I haven’t been scheduled for any traveling so I’m taking advantage of being local while I still can!

Here’s a quick recap of what I’ve been up to lately:

  • Wrote an informative tech post for my company’s cyber security blog 💻.
  • Weekend doses of Disneyland magic 🏰.
  • Rebuilt the hosting server’s firewall rules/configuration and transferred more than 150gb worth of data.
  • Got involved with a Research and Development (R&D) project at work.
  • Continued working out of coffee and tea shops ☕.
  • Found a cool poke place (holla at Pokemix in Pasadena)
  • Got addicted to Emoji Blitz (pretty much a Disney-themed Candy Crush).
  • Starting to get used to my new car (playing with sports mode on).
  • Going to the gym regularly 🏃.
  • Planned a Thanksgiving dinner with my boyfriend 🦐.
  • Iced caramel macchiato = ❤️❤️❤️.
  • Watched Doctor Strange with my boyfriend. “Mister Doctor”
  • Got a haircut and my hair barely reaches below my shoulder 💇. booooo…
  • Seoul Bowl from Veggie Grill is lit 🔥.

Looks like you’ve had a very productive week, especially with all the work-related tasks! I’m curious what the topic is for your R&D project. I hope it was interesting! And yay for continuing to working in coffee shops. I sure wish I can do that ^_^ Iced caramel macchiato are yummy!

I think it’s great you’re planning a Thanksgiving dinner with your boyfriend! What’s your menu? I hope you’ll blog about what food you guys end up making/having! Enjoy your Thanksigivng week! Speaking of food — those last two photos are making me hungry!

Your new haircut!!! It looks great! I’m so used to seeing you with that super long hair, but the shorter cut looks great on you 🙂 It will grow back out before you know it.

I too am getting into the holiday spirit. There’s station in the Northern Virginia/DC area (where my I live but don’t go to school) that’s already playing Christmas music and I like to listen to it when I’m in a good mood.

It’s good that you’re getting so involved in work. I’m sure it says a lot about how passionate you are about your job.

    Have a good Thanksgiving!

Wow, sounds like you had a productive week! Great job! 🙂

A Thanksgiving dinner sounds lovely, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving (I know it’s a really big holiday over there) and I am curious as to what you and your boyfriend prepared for the occasion! 🙂

You look great with your new hair! 🙂

It looks like you’re in the net! XD

But ah—is that a shrimp next to your Thanksgiving dinner w/the BF line?? It’s weird to me to think of having fish on Thanksgiving. I’m not really sure why. :s

    Congrats on posting on your company’s blog. ^^;

I feel like everyone’s in the festive spirit already! 😛 I haven’t felt very Christmasy yet despite the numerous visits to the local Christmas markets! Awesome Christmas tree though, I have to tell you it’s not as pretty here in the UK (well, maybe in London!)

I GASPED SO MUCH WHEN I SAW YOUR HAIR ON INSTAGRAM! I can’t believe you got it cut, but it suits you SO much. I’m digging it!

SO proud of you for going to the gym regularly, I hope you’ve found your flow 😉

Love your list! Congrats on your work accomplishments and getting some R&D work. That’s always exciting.

“Going to the gym regularly” <– omg that's like adulthood unlocked. If you can do that, you're golden. XD
